# Adding Resources

You can create resources from scratch or use one of our handy templates to create resources with specific settings in a few clicks.

## Creating a Meeting Room

This template lets you create a meeting room with an hourly, half day and full day rate in just a few clicks.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Inventory > Resources**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/billing/resources).
3. Click **Add resource**.
4. Click on the **Meeting room** tile.
5. Name your resource.
6. Define an **Hourly price** for your resource.
7. Define a **Half-day price** for your resource.
8. Define a **Full day price** for your resource.
9. Click **Add resource**.

You can now edit the resource's details and settings as needed.

## Creating a Hot-desk Bank

This template lets you create a hot-desk bank with an hourly, half day and full day rate in just a few clicks.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Inventory > Resources**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/billing/resources).
3. Click **Add resource**.
4. Click on the **Hot-desk bank** tile.
5. **Name** your resource.
6. Define a number of **Seats** for the bank.

          1 seat = 1 bookable hot-desk unit

          

1. Define an **Hourly price** for the hot-desks.
2. Define a **Half day price** for the hot-desks.
3. Define a **Full day price** for the hot-desks.
4. Click **Add resource**.

You can now edit the resource's details and settings as needed.

## Creating a Coliving Resource

This template lets you create a coliving resource with a set rate per night in just a few clicks.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Inventory > Resources**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/billing/resources).
3. Click **Add resource**.
4. Click on the **Coliving space** tile.
5. Name the resource.
6. Define a **Price per night**.
7. Click **Add resource**.

You can now edit the resource's details and settings as needed.

## Creating an Unassigned Parking Bay

This template lets you create an unassigned parking bay with an hourly price in just a few clicks.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Inventory > Resources**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/billing/resources).
3. Click **Add resource**.
4. Click on the **Parking bay (unassigned)** tile.
5. Name the **Parking area**.
6. Define the **Number of bays** you want to add to the parking area.
7. Define an **Hourly price** for the bays.
8. Click **Add resource**.

You can now edit the resource's details and settings as needed.

## Creating an Assigned Parking Bay

This template lets you create an assigned parking bay with an hourly price in just a few clicks.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Inventory > Resources**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/billing/resources).
3. Click **Add resource**.
4. Click on the **Parking bay (assigned)** tile.
5. Name the **Parking area**.
6. Define the **Number of bays** you want to add to the parking area.
7. Define an **Hourly price** for the bays.
8. Click **Add resource**.

You can now edit the resource's details and settings as needed.

## Creating a Resource from Scratch

          Make sure you have a [resource type](/v3/docs/resource-types) set up for the resource before creating it.

          

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Inventory > Resources**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/billing/resources).
3. Click **Add resource**.
4. Click on the **Manual entry** tile.
5. Add a **Resource name**.
6. Select a **Resource type**.
7. Add a **Category**.
8. Define **Web portal and members app** settings.
9. Toggle on all the required **Features**.
10. Click on the **Rates** tab and define the resource's pricing by adding rates.
11. Click the **Save Changes** button.
