# Adding Time Passes

Time passes are passes that let customers check in up to certain number of minutes. Time passes, unlike day passes, can be used over the course of several days until the customer runs out of time.

Want passes to give customer access for an entire day?

Check out our article on [Adding Day Passes](/v3/docs/adding-day-passes).

You can create time passes in two different ways:

- **Working hours time passes**

This wizard lets you create a time pass that's only valid Monday to Friday during working hours in a few clicks.

*For example, you want members on basic plans to only be able to check-in between 10 and 4:30 on weekdays.*

- **Custom time passes**

This option lets you create a time pass from scratch with the Availability of your choice.

*For example, you want to create a time pass that's available 7 days/week or a time pass that's only available on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.*

## Adding Working Hours Time Passes

The *Working hours* template lets you create a time pass that can only be used during specific working hours in a few clicks.

*For example, you want customers to be able to check in for up to 10 hours, but always within your 9 to 5 opening hours, Monday through Friday. In this case, you would create a working hours pass where you define the Valid from/until times as 09:00./17:00 and then add 600 minutes of access.*

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click **Inventory > Passes**.
3. Click **Add pass**.
4. Click on **Working hours pass**.
5. Name the pass.
6. Select the pass **Valid from/until** times based on the working hours you want to include in the pass.
7. Click the **Save Changes** button.
8. Select **This pass can be used for up to** in the **Type** section.
9. Define the number of minutes you want to include in the pass.

**3 hours** = 180 minutes **5 hours** = 300 minutes **8 hours** = 480 minutes

1. Click the **Save Changes** button.

Working hours time passes are only available in the location where you create them by default.

You can easily make them available across all locations by selecting your *Network* location in the **Available at** drop-down list.

Your working hours pass can now be added as a benefit to any plan or product. You can also add passes to a customer's account via the **Benefits** tab.
