# Allowing Plan Freezing

You can give your customers the option to freeze their floor plan from the Members Portal in a few clicks on the Admin Panel.

*For example, allow members to freeze their plan for up to 3 month, once a year.*

          All admins who can edit contracts  can freeze a plan at any time.

          

You don't need to allow plan freezing if you only want admins to be able to freeze plans.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Inventory > Plans**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/billing/tariffs).
3. Click on the relevant plan.
4. Click on the **Limits** tab.
5. Toggle on **Customers in this plan can freeze their plan from the portal or the app**.
6. Define the number of **Pauses a year** and **Cycles per freeze** you want to allow.

> **Pauses a year and Cycles per freeze are linked settings** *For example, if you want to allow up to 3 months in a year, but no more than 1 month at a time, make sure Pauses a year is set to 3 and Cycles per freeze is set to 1.*

1. Click the **Save Changes** button.

All set! Customers signed up to this plan can now [freeze it from the Members Portal](/docs/freezing-contracts-as-a-member) within the limits you've defined. Repeat the process for every other relevant plan.
