Instead of creating each {{variable.contract}} or {{variable.proposal}} from scratch, just [add a {{variable.documenttemplate}}](/docs/adding-document-templates){target=`_blank`} and [include {{variable.mergefields}}](/docs/adding-merge-fields){target=`_blank`} to pull {{variable.customer}}-specific information from data in your Nexudus account each time you generate the document. *For example, you can generate {{variable.virtualoffice}} {{variable.contracts}} that automatically include a list of beneficiaries and their contact details.* :::(Error) (Your {{variable.documenttemplate}} needs to be in Microsoft Word format to add merge blocks.) ::: You can pull the following data specifically from your {{variable.virtualoffice}} {{variable.contracts}}: **Beneficiaries** are individuals who own the business or people with significant decisional power within the company registering its address. **Nominated recipients** are individuals who are not beneficiaries of the company but can receive packages on their behalf. ## Adding Beneficiaries to {{variable.DocumentTemplates_CAPS}} You can easily add a beneficiary merge block to {{variable.documenttemplates}}. We'll automatically pull the relevant information to populate the {{variable.mergefields}} each time you generate the document. ![AddingBeneficiariesToDocumentTemplates.gif](https://cdn.document360.io/4f9a66c7-3dbb-4052-97d8-5439302e1512/Images/Documentation/AddingBeneficiariesToDocumentTemplates.gif){height="" width=""} *** 1. {{snippet.FirstStepProcedure}} 2. {{variable.CLICK_ON}} {{variable.DocumentTemplates_Link}}. 3. {{variable.SELECT}} the {{variable.documenttemplate}} you'd like to edit and click **Launch editor**. *The template editor opens in another browser tab. Your document can take a few seconds to load.* 4. {{variable.CLICK}} where you want to add the merge block in your {{variable.documenttemplate}}. 5. Under the **Data** tab, select **Insert Merge Block** and click **ActiveContracts**. 6. Select **Active** and **Plain paragraph** and click **OK**. ![InsertMergeBlockDialogueBox.png](https://cdn.document360.io/4f9a66c7-3dbb-4052-97d8-5439302e1512/Images/Documentation/InsertMergeBlockDialogueBox.png){height="300" width=""} 7. {{variable.CLICK_ON}} **Select Master Table** and select **Contracts**. 8. {{variable.CLICK_ON}} **Insert Merge Block** and select **Beneficiaries**. 9. Under **File**, click **Save**. :::(Error) (Make sure to save before closing, as the editor won't save your changes automatically.) ::: *** All set! You can now generate your {{variable.documenttemplate}} for any {{variable.virtualoffice}} {{variable.contract}}. :::(Info) (Make sure you test the template before sending it to {{variable.customers}} to make sure all the merge fields display the right information.) If there is no relevant data to pull, the {{variable.mergefields}} will remain blank. ::: ## Adding Nominated Recipients to {{variable.DocumentTemplates_CAPS}} You can easily add a nominated recipient merge block to {{variable.documenttemplates}}.
