# Cancelling Bookings on Members Portal 5

Customers can cancel their bookings from the **My Activity** section of the Members Portal.

You can define your cancellation policy for bookings.

You can also define cancellation policies for individual resources using [limits](/v3/docs/defining-resource-rules) and [rules](/v3/docs/resource-rules).

1. Log in to the Members Portal if you haven't already.
2. Open the drop-down menu next to your icon and select **My Activity**.
3. Select **Bookings**.
4. Click **Modify** next to the booking you'd like to cancel.
5. Click **Cancel booking**.
6. Select a **Cancellation reason**.
7. Click **Cancel booking**.

All set! The booking has been cancelled. Customers will receive an email confirming the cancellation.
