Cancelling Contracts

Cancel any customer contract in a minute or schedule their cancellation ahead of time. You can cancel any active contract from the Finance section on the Admin Panel or directly from the Sales tab in the customer's account.


Cancelling Contracts

You can cancel any contract in a few clicks on the Admin Panel. This is a suitable solution when you want to immediately cancel a customer's contract.

Cancelling contracts on the Admin Panel overrides any notice period or minimum term set in the contracts.
  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Finance > Contracts.
  3. Tick the checkbox next to every contract you want to cancel.
  4. Click on Cancel contract in the Bulk actions menu.
  5. Click on Cancel contract but do not issue a final invoice or Cancel contract and issue a final invoice.

Alternatively, you can click the three dots icon next to the contract you want to cancel and then click Cancel contract.


Scheduling Contracts Cancellations

You can also schedule the cancellation of a contract when customers have a notice period or you reached an agreement to cancel the contract on a set date.

Contracts end shortly after 12AM on the cancellation date.

For example, if you want a member to keep access to your space until the end of the day on the 15th, you need to set the cancellation date to the 16th.

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click on customers.
  3. Click on the customer who is cancelling their contract.
  4. Click Sales > Contracts.
  5. Click on the contract you want to cancel.
  6. Click on the Cancellation tab.
  7. Click Terms and cancellation.
  8. Select a Cancellation date.

For example, if you set the cancellation date to May 15th, the member will become a contact and lose access to your space shortly after May 14th 11:59PM.

  1. Toggle on Adjust the last invoice based on how many days are between the next invoice date and the cancellation date if you want to prorate the customer's last invoice.

  2. Click on Cancellation details and add the cancellation details.

  3. Click the Save Changes button.

All set! The customer's contract will automatically cancel on the date you've selected.
