# D12S

## What are {{variable.D12S}} sensors?
{{variable.D12S}} are compact optic sensors developed by Disruptive Technologies. They are designed to collect data about your space's environment every 5 to 15 minutes.

*For example, track temperature in different areas of your space to manage air-con/heating or know if a locked door has been left open for more than 15 mins.*

## How to integrate {{variable.D12S}} 

The {{variable.D12S}} integration works alongside the {{variable.sensors}} feature in Nexudus. 

The integration is a three-step process: 

1. **Create a data connector in your {{variable.D12S}} account**
2. **Enable the {{variable.D12S}} integration in {{variable.Nexudus}}**
3. **Start using your sensors in Nexudus**
