Defining Floor Plan Capacity

Article Summary

You can define the maximum booking capacity for any of your floor plans to control how many simultaneous bookings you allow per floor at all times.

This booking capacity per floor lets you adapt how many desks, offices, and other floor plan items customers can book at all times without actually changing your floor plan.

For example, your space has 50 hot-desks per floor, but due to external restrictions, your space can only have up to 25 people per floor.

You can define this maximum booking capacity to 25 to prevent bookings when the maximum capacity is reached.

Your customers can also track the current availability via the Floor plan view on the Members Portal.

If your floor plan Capacity is set to 10 and a customer books a resource adding 5 guests, your floor plan Capacity will drop to 4 for the duration of the booking.

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click on Inventory > Floor plans.

  3. Click on the pencil icon next to the floor plan you want to edit.

  4. Edit the Capacity.

  5. Click the Save Changes button.

Your floor plan is immediately updated to reflect the new capacity.
