# Deleting Financial Accounts

You can delete your financial accounts in a few clicks on the Admin Panel.

          You cannot delete financial accounts that are still linked to items you sell.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Settings > Invoices and tax > Chart**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/settings/1/0/7).
3. Tick the checkbox next to every record you want to delete.
4. Click on the **Bulk actions** button and *Delete xx record(s)* in the *Bulk actions* menu.

📢 *A new pop-up appears, prompting you to type out DELETE to confirm your action.*

          Don't forget to use ALL CAPS.

          

The field is case-sensitive and typing it any other way will prevent you from deleting the records.
5. Click **Yes, do it** to confirm.

You've successfully deleted one or multiple financial accounts. Invoices issued using these financial accounts remain unchanged.

          Couldn't delete your financial account?

          

Your financial account is probably still linked to one or more inventory items.

Click on the **Chart** tab and have a look at all the listed items to ensure none of them are still linked to the financial account you're trying to delete. Try again after unlinking the relevant items and [contact support](https://help.nexudus.com/docs/contacting-support) if the issue persists.
