# Editing Event Categories

You can edit any {{variable.event}} category from the **Community** section of the {{variable.AdminPanel}}.

1. {{snippet.FirstStepProcedure}}

2. {{snippet.CommunityEventCategories_Path}}
3. Click the {{variable.event}} category you want to edit.
4. Edit the category's details as needed.
5. {{snippet.Save_Changes}}

Your edits are immediately implemented. {{variable.Events_CAP}} that already used the category will be updated automatically.
