# Editing Invoice Tax Rates

You can edit the tax rate applied to any **unpaid** or **due** invoice. Editing tax rates on unpaid and due invoices is a manual process that you need to repeat for each individual item on the invoice.

          You cannot edit tax rates on paid invoices.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Finance > Invoices**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/finance/coworkerInvoices).
3. Click on the invoice you want to edit
4. Click on the pencil icon next to the first invoice item you want to edit.
5. Select a different rate from the **Tax Rate** drop-down list.
6. Click the **Save Changes** button.

Repeat the process for every invoice item that needs a different tax rate.
