# Editing Resource Types

You can edit resource types at any point on the Admin Panel.

          Want to remove a resource from a specific resource type?

          

Just head over to that resource's record and change the selected **Resource type**.

Changing this field will automatically remove the resource from the intial type and add it to the new one you selected.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Inventory > Resource type**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/billing/resourceTypes).
3. Click on the resource type you want to edit.
4. Edit the resource type as needed.
5. Click the **Save Changes** button.

Your resource type record is immediately updated. All resources within this type will also be updated to reflect your edits.
