# Editing Subscriber Groups

You can edit {{variable.subscriber}} groups in a few clicks {{variable.OnTheAdminPanel}}.

1. {{snippet.FirstStepProcedure}}
2. {{variable.CLICK}} {{variable.SubscriberGroups_Link}}.
3. {{variable.CLICK_ON}} the smart {{variable.subscriber}} group you want to edit.
4. {{variable.EDIT}} your group as needed.
5. {{snippet.Save_Changes}}

Your smart {{variable.subscriber}} group will be updated within the next 12 hours. 

:::(Info) (Smart {{variable.subscriber}} groups are updated around midnight and noon.)
You may need to wait up to 12 hours to see {{variable.subscribers}} added or removed after saving your changes.

### Editing Manual Subscriber Groups

3. {{variable.CLICK_ON}} the {{variable.subscriber}} group you want to edit.
4. {{variable.EDIT}} your group as needed.
5. {{snippet.Save_Changes}}

Your {{variable.subscriber}} group is now updated and your changes applied instantly.

## Editing Smart Subscribers Groups for {{variable.Plans_CAP}} 

You can't directly edit the settings of smart groups for {{variable.plans}}. The system relies on these settings to dynamically update the groups.

If you need to edit the name of the group, you must [rename the associated {{variable.plan}}](/docs/editing-plans){target=`_blank`}.
