# Email Notifications

##
## What Are Email Notifications?
Email notifications, also known as {{variable.customer}} notifications, are templated {{variable.messages}} that {{variable.Nexudus}} sends automatically to your {{variable.customers}} when a specific action is triggered in your account.

Actions include {{variable.events}} such as {{variable.customers}} being registered in your {{variable.space}}, {{variable.visitors}} checking in, {{variable.customers}} making a {{variable.booking}} or even e-signature requests.

## How Email Notifications Work
Email notifications are sent to {{variable.customers}} as soon as the connected action is recorded in {{variable.Nexudus}}.

*For example, as soon as a {{variable.customer}} {{variable.booking}} is confirmed either on the {{variable.AdminPanel}} or the {{variable.MembersPortal}} the Booking confirmation notification would be sent to the {{variable.customer}} within minutes.*

Most notifications cannot be disabled, but some of them aren't sent when specific settings are disabled in your {{variable.location}}.

## Email Notifications & Networks

Each {{variable.location}} has a set of email notification {{variable.templates}}. Editing a {{variable.template}} in one {{variable.location}} won't affect the matching {{variable.template}} available in other {{variable.locations}}, unless you click **Copy to all {{variable.locations}}** after editing the {{variable.template}}.

## Email Notifications Languages
{{variable.Nexudus}} provides a set of email notifications in all the supported {{variable.MembersPortal}} languages, including:

You can edit the {{variable.template}} of each notification using the built-in editor or directly through the notification's code.

:::(Warning) (Editing notification {{variable.templates}} in one language won't impact these {{variable.templates}} in other languages.)

For example, if you change a logo in your English {{variable.templates}}, the other languages won't include that new logo.
