# Enabling Pay As You Go Passes
Before creating a {{variable.PAYG}} {{variable.pass}}, you must first enable {{variable.PAYG}} access in your **Check-in settings**.

2. Go to {{variable.CheckinSettings_Link}} and click on the **Pay as you go** tab.
3. Toggle on *Enable 'pay as you go' access*.
4. Toggle on *Exclude time used in booking when calculating how long users were checked in* if you want to ignore {{variable.booking}} times in the {{variable.PAYG}} calculations.
5. Toggle on *Members pay the 'pay as you go' charges via their contract* if you want {{variable.PAYG}} charges to be invoiced alongside the {{variable.member}}'s {{variable.plan}} instead of immediately after check-out.
6. Define a **minimum daily price** if you want {{variable.customers}} to be charged a minimum amount when checking in using {{variable.PAYG}}.
*For example, let's say your {{variable.PAYG}} hourly price is $20 and your minimum daily price is $50. {{variable.Customers_CAP}} will always pay at least $50 when checking in with {{variable.PAYG}}, even if they only stay for an hour or less.*
7. Define a **maximum daily price** if you want to cap {{variable.PAYG}} charges for your {{variable.customers}}.
*For example, let's say your {{variable.PAYG}} pricing is only $20/hour and your maxmimum daily price is $100. {{variable.Customers_CAP}} will never pay more than $100 when checking in with {{variable.PAYG}}, even if they stay for more than five hours.*

*For example, if you offer low {{variable.PAYG}} rates of $1/hour to {{variable.members}} of certain {{variable.plans}}, they would still pay $50 for the day when checking in with {{variable.PAYG}} if you have set your minimum daily price to $50.*
