# Exporting Tax Rates

You can export your tax rates to keep a local copy of your records.

          Exports include all the data available in your location by default.

          

You can reduce the data included in your file by using one or more of the filters available.

Data included in your export file

- Tax rate name
- Tax rate unique ID
- Creation date and time
- Last update date, time, and admin user email
- Location ID

          You must be a full unrestricted admin to export data from Nexudus.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Settings > Invoices and tax > Tax**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/settings/1/0/5).
3. Scroll down to the **Tax Rates** section.
4. Tick the checkbox next to any of the listed records.
5. Click on the export icon ![Export icon](https://cdn.document360.io/4f9a66c7-3dbb-4052-97d8-5439302e1512/Images/Documentation/ExportIcon.png)  in the top-right corner of the page.

Your download should only take a few seconds. You can find your export XLS file in the *Downloads* folder of your device.
