    Formatting Merge Fields

    Dynamic fields that include dates and numbers, such as the price of a contract or the contract start date, may require a specific format to match your local formatting conventions.

    1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

    3. Click the document template you want to edit.

    4. Click Launch editor.

    The template editor opens another tab in your browser. Your document can take a few seconds to load.

    1. Right-click on any dynamic field and click Field Properties.

    2. Enter your custom format in the Numeric Format or the Date / Time Format field.

    3. Click on the File tab when you are ready to save your edits

    4. Click the Save button. 

    You can close the editor's tab and return to the Admin Panel.

    Make sure you test the template with a mock proposal to see if the merge fields are displayed in the expected format.
