Generating Contract Documents

Article summary

You can generate files for your contracts based on document templates. If you decide to share this document with the customer, they will receive the file via email and we'll also add it to the My Files section in their Members Portal account.

You need to create document templates before using them to generate contracts.

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Finance > Contracts.

  3. Click the three dots icon next to the relevant contract.

  4. Click Create document.

  5. Select a document template from the drop-down list.

  6. Toggle on the Attach this file to the customer account instead of downloading it to share the file with the customer and add it to the Files section of their account.

  7. Toggle on the Request the customer to digitally sign this document if you want the customer to receive an email prompting them to digitally sign the contract.

You need to have the Digital Signature integration enabled to use this feature.
  1. Click Yes, do it to confirm.


The customer will receive the contract document within minutes. You can check the Email Queue to make sure they've received the email notification with the contract.
