# Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

## What is {{variable.GoogleAnalytics4}}
{{variable.GoogleAnalytics4}} (GA4) is a web analytics tool that collects data and insights on how your {{variable.customers}} browse and use your {{variable.MembersPortal}}. 

Our integration tracks GA4 events on your {{variable.MembersPortal}} such as page visits, items added to cart, and more! You can then use these events metrics in GA4 to improve your {{variable.MembersPortal}} performance and user experience. 

## How the {{variable.GoogleAnalytics4}} integration works
All you need to use {{variable.GoogleAnalytics4}} is a Google Analytics account and a property set up for your {{variable.MembersPortal}} within that account. Once you have both, all you have left to do is enable the integration {{variable.OnTheAdminPanel}}.

We'll automatically disable the {{variable.GoogleTagManager}} integration and remove your GTM key if you enable {{variable.GoogleAnalytics4}}.

## {{variable.GoogleAnalytics4}} events that {{variable.Nexudus}} tracks

{{variable.Nexudus}} tracks the following events on your {{variable.MembersPortal}}: 
:::(Info) (GA4 assigns a random, automatically generated User ID to each visitor of your website.)
This ID isn’t tied to any identifiable or personal data in compliance with GDPR and is only designed to let you to leverage events, sessions, and behavior analytics.
