If you don't have a {{variable.Gallagher}} account yet, we recommend you get in touch with them via their [contact form](https://security.gallagher.com/Contact-Us){target="_blank"}. They will help you set up your account and install the system in your space. {{snippet.IntegrationCharge50_Warning}} ## What You Need to Integrate {{variable.Gallagher}} ### A {{variable.Gallagher}} Account If you already have a {{variable.Nexudus}} account but no {{variable.Gallagher}} account, get in touch with {{variable.Gallagher}} to install the system in your space and open your account. ### Your {{variable.Gallagher}} details You need to collect the following details from your {{variable.Gallagher}} account: * {{variable.Gallagher}} **API key** * {{variable.Gallagher}} **divisions ID** * {{variable.Gallagher}} **card type** you use * All the {{variable.Gallagher}} **access event types** you want to connect to {{variable.Nexudus}} ### Inventory Items in {{variable.Nexudus}} Access to your building is managed through three items available in {{variable.Nexudus}}: [passes](/v3/docs/passes){target="_blank"}, [resources](/v3/docs/resources){target="_blank"}, and [desks/offices](/v3/docs/managing-floor-plan-items){target="_blank"}. It is important to have these items set up in your space prior to the integration as they are connection points between Nexudus and your {{variable.Gallagher}} access groups. ### Access Groups in {{variable.Gallagher}} We recommend one access group per pass, resource, and desk or office in your floor plans. *For example, if your space offers:* * *2 types of passes* * *3 meeting rooms* * *4 private offices* *You need 9 access groups in {{variable.Gallagher}}.* You don't need to manually create users in {{variable.Gallagher}}. Nexudus manages this for you, including assigning them a PIN code or up to four access cards based on the details of each customer. {{variable.Nexudus}} automatically adds your customers as users in {{variable.Gallagher}} when they purchase a pass, a contract for a desk or office or make a booking for one of the resources you have connected to an access group. You must create and edit your access groups in {{variable.Gallagher}} as you cannot do this in {{variable.Nexudus}}. ## Integrating {{variable.Gallagher}} 1. {{snippet.FirstStepProcedure}} 2. {{snippet.Gallagher_Path}} 3. Enable the **{{variable.Gallagher}} integration** toggle. 4. Add your {{variable.Gallagher}} **API Key**. 5. Add your {{variable.Gallagher}} **Division ID**. 6. Add your {{variable.Gallagher}} **Card type**. :::(Info) (We add the most common type of card by default, but you can replace the default option with any card type that you use in {{variable.Gallagher}}. ) ::: 7. Add all the {{variable.Gallagher}} **Access event types**, separating them using commas. :::(Info) (We include the most common ones by default, but you can add any other {{variable.Gallagher}} access event type that you want to connect to {{variable.Nexudus}}.) ::: 8. {{snippet.Save_Changes}} A few new sections should pop up under the integration's settings. #### Presence Tracking This section lets you automatically trigger check-ins/outs when {{variable.customers}} unlock specific doors. ![ACS_DoorCheckin](https://cdn.document360.io/4f9a66c7-3dbb-4052-97d8-5439302e1512/Images/Documentation/ACS_DoorCheckin.png){height="" width=""} If you choose *Check in/out* for a door, make sure {{variable.customers}} have valid [{{variable.passes}}](/v3/docs/passes){target="_blank"} to access the building. {{variable.Customers_CAP}} without valid {{variable.passes}} will be able still unlock doors, but we'll automatically record them as a failed check-in. You can track all failed check-ins via {{variable.FailedCheckins_Link}}. #### Resources This section lets you connect each resource available in your space to {{variable.Gallagher}} access groups. Any {{variable.customer}} booking a connected resource will be able to unlock the {{variable.Gallagher}} doors included in the selected access group. ![Gallagher_ResourceMapping](https://cdn.document360.io/4f9a66c7-3dbb-4052-97d8-5439302e1512/Images/Documentation/Gallagher_ResourceMapping.png){height="" width=""} {{variable.Nexudus}} adds {{variable.customers}} to {{variable.Gallagher}} access groups 15 minutes before their booking starts. We also automatically remove them from the access groups 15 minutes after their booking ends. #### Passes This section lets you connect {{variable.passes}} available in your space to {{variable.Gallagher}} access groups. Any {{variable.customer}} with a valid {{variable.pass}} connected to {{variable.Gallagher}} will be able to unlock the {{variable.Gallagher}} doors included in the selected access group. ![Gallagher_PassMapping](https://cdn.document360.io/4f9a66c7-3dbb-4052-97d8-5439302e1512/Images/Documentation/Gallagher_PassMapping.png){height="" width=""} Access times and days you define in {{variable.Gallagher}} access groups **must** match the availability of your {{variable.passes}} in {{variable.Nexudus}}. {{variable.Nexudus}} cannot edit the access times defined in {{variable.Gallagher}} access groups. The {{variable.Gallagher}} access group availability always overrides any {{variable.pass}} availability in {{variable.Nexudus}}. #### Desks and offices This section lets you connect desks and offices from your floor plan items to {{variable.Gallagher}} access groups. Any customer with an active contract linked to a connected desk or office automatically gets the relevant {{variable.Gallagher}} access. ![Gallagher_DeskMapping](https://cdn.document360.io/4f9a66c7-3dbb-4052-97d8-5439302e1512/Images/Documentation/Gallagher_DeskMapping.png){height="" width=""} {{variable.Nexudus}} adds customers to the relevant {{variable.Gallagher}} access groups on their contract's start date. We automatically remove them from the access groups on their contract's cancellation date. :::(Info) ({{variable.Customers_CAP}} lose door access on their contract's cancellation day shortly after midnight.) If you want them to keep door access for the day, you can either add a connected pass to their account or move their contract's cancellation to the following day. *For example, if a customer contract ends on July 1st and you want them to access your space on the 1st, you can provide a day pass or move their contract's cancellation date to July 2nd.* ::: Once you've assigned access groups to every relevant item, you can click **Save changes** to complete the {{variable.Gallagher}} integration.
