# Joining Plans
{{variable.Customers_CAP}} can sign up to {{variable.plans}} on the {{variable.MembersPortal}} in five simple steps.

## Step 1. Select a plan

If you've customized your portal, the steps for your {{variable.customers}} may be different.

1. From the {{variable.MembersPortal}} landing page, click on the **Memberships** tab.
2. {{variable.SELECT}} a {{variable.plan}} **kind**.

If your space doesn't offer a specific kind of {{variable.plan}}, it won't be available as an option.

3. {{variable.SELECT}} your start date.
4. {{variable.CLICK}} **Join this plan**.

{{variable.Customers_CAP}} will need to click **I accept these terms** to proceed.

The next step is to add {{variable.products}}.
## Step 2. Add on products

Once they've selected their {{variable.plan}}, {{variable.customers}} have the option to add recurring {{variable.products}}.
Examples of common recurring {{variable.products}} include parking passes or locker rentals.

1. Under the {{variable.product}} you'd like to add, select **one-off** or **add to plan**.

2. {{variable.SELECT}} the **quantity** you'd like to purchase.
3. Repeat as necessary for every {{variable.product}} you'd like to purchase.
Once you've added {{variable.products}}, the next step is to create an account.
## Step 3. Create an Account
{{variable.Customers_CAP}} will need to provide the information you've asked for in your default sign-up form.

1. {{variable.ADD}} your **Full name**.
2. {{variable.ADD}} your **Email**.
7. Under **I'm signing up as a**, select your {{variable.customer}} type.

You can [disable this field](/v3/docs/customizing-the-default-sign-up-form){target=`_blank`} if you'd like all {{variable.customers}} to sign up as individuals from the {{variable.MembersPortal}}.

The next step is to add any additional details.
## Step 4. Add additional details
{{variable.Customers_CAP}} will need to add any additional details you've requested as part of the [{{variable.plan}} extended form](/v3/docs/customizing-extended-forms){target=`_blank`}.

*For example, you may want {{variable.customers}} to provide their address, contact details, and billing details.*
Once {{variable.customers}} have filled in any additional details, click **Next**.
The final step is to complete payment.
## Step 5. Complete payment
How {{variable.customers}} pay for their plans depends on your space's individual [payment methods](/v3/docs/payment-gateways){target=`_blank`}.

*For example, you may allow {{variable.customers}} to pay by adding their credit card details, linking their bank account, or both.*
Once you've entered your payment details, click **Submit Payment**.

All set! You'll receive a notification letting you know a {{variable.customer}} has signed up to a {{variable.plan}}.
