# Klarna (Pay Later)

Klarna (Pay Later) is a payment method that lets your customers spread the cost of their purchase over a set period of time.

To check if Klarna is available in your country, head over to [Klarna's country availability list](https://www.klarna.com/uk/business/merchant-support/in-which-countries-can-i-use-klarna/).

**Automated Payments** No

## Enabling Klarna

Before enabling Klarna, you need to generate API credentials from your account on the Klarna Merchant Portal. Klarna provides instructions on [how to create API credentials](https://www.klarna.com/uk/business/merchant-support/where-can-i-find-the-klarna-api-credentials/).

          Treat your Klarna API username and password as you would any credentials.

          

Save them somewhere safe and don't share them with anyone.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Settings > Payments and currency > Payment methods**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/settings/1/1/2).
3. Search Klarna in the **Available methods** section.
4. Click on the pink **Klarna** tile.

1. Toggle on the payment method.
2. Add your Klarna **API username**.
3. Add your Klarna **API password**.
4. Add your **Region**.

          Available regions

          

- Europe
- United States
- Australia
- Sweden

1. Click the **Save Changes** button.

All set! Klarna is now enabled as a payment method on your Members Portal. We recommend you test the payment method by making a purchase as a customer on the Members Portal using Klarna at checkout.
