# Managing Dashboard Cards

## Rename {{variable.dashboard}} {{variable.cards}}

1. {{snippet.FirstStepProcedure}}
2. {{snippet.Dashboard_Path}}
3. Click on any of your custom home {{variable.dashboard}}. 
4. Click the three dots icon next to the {{variable.card}} that you want to rename. 
5. Click **Rename**.

Another {{variable.admin}} owns the {{variable.dashboard}} and didn't allow othe admins to edit it. Click on **View details** at the bottom of the {{variable.dashboard}} to see who's the **Owner**. You can then reach out and ask them to [share editing rights](/v3/docs/sharing-dashboard-tabs){target="_blank"} with you.

6. Rename your {{variable.card}}. 
7. Click **OK**.

## Add cards to your {{variable.dashboard}}
1. {{snippet.FirstStepProcedure}}
2. {{snippet.Dashboard_Path}}
3. Click on the {{variable.dashboardtab}} you want to edit.
4. Click on **Add card**.

Another {{variable.admin}} owns the {{variable.dashboard}} and didn't allow others to edit it. Click  on **View details** at the bottom of the {{variable.dashboard}} to see who's the **Owner**. You can then reach out and ask them to [share editing rights](/v3/docs/sharing-dashboard-tabs){target="_blank"} with you.

5. Select a {{variable.card}} type.

6. Tick the checkbox next to every card you want to include in your {{variable.dashboard}}. 
7. Click **Add xx card(s)**.

The selected {{variable.cards}} are now part of your {{variable.dashboard}}. Repeat the process to add another type of {{variable.cards}} or any new card you want to see on your {{variable.dashboard}}. 

You can drag and drop any of your cards to easily rearrange them on your {{variable.dashboard}}. You can also resize each card by clicking on the arrow in the bottom right corner while moving your mouse.

The card is now removed from your {{variable.dashboard}}. Repeat the process for every other card that you want to delete. 

## Remove cards from your {{variable.dashboard}}

4. Click the three dots icon in the top right corner of the card you want to delete. 
5. Click **Remove card**.

The {{variable.card}} is now removed from your {{variable.dashboard}}. Repeat the process for every other {{variable.card}} that you want to remove.
