## What You Need to Enable PayPal Standard

### A PayPal Account

You need a PayPal account that's fully set up and live to enable this payment method. You'll also need the email address you use for this Paypal account.

## Enabling PayPal Standard

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Settings > Payments and currency > Payment methods**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/settings/1/1/2).
3. Click on **PayPal Standard**.
4. Enable the integration toggle.
5. Add your **Paypal business email** as it is in your Paypal account.
6. Click the **Save Changes** button.

All set! We recommend you [test the payment flow](/v3/docs/making-a-test-payment) on the Members Portal with a dummy customer and an actual invoice to make sure payments are processed as expected.

PayPal Standard only support one-off payments.

This means that your customers will need to log in to the Members Portal and manually pay each invoice issued for them through PayPal Standard if you don't have any other **automated** payment method enabled.
