# Products on Members Portal 5

## What is the store?
The **Store** section of the {{variable.MembersPortal}} lets {{variable.customers}} purchase **{{variable.products}}** from your space. 

**{{variable.Products_CAP}}** in {{variable.Nexudus}} are anything you sell to {{variable.customers}} outside of {{variable.plans}}, event tickets, and {{variable.bookings}}. This can include **access to your space**, such as {{variable.products}} that bundle day {{variable.passes}} or time {{variable.passes}}. {{variable.Products_CAP}} can also include **locker rentals**, **parking permits**, or even **food and drink**.

## How the store works 
You can make any {{variable.products}} you sell available on the {{variable.MembersPortal}} for {{variable.customers}} to purchase. 

{{variable.Customers_CAP}} can browse {{variable.products}} by {{variable.product}} **kinds**. Once {{variable.customers}} have chosen a {{variable.product}} they like, they can [purchase](/v3/docs/purchasing-products){target=`_blank`} it directly on the {{variable.MembersPortal}}. 

The Store is available on the {{variable.MembersPortal}} as long as you have at least one published {{variable.product}}. If you want to sell {{variable.products}} on the {{variable.MembersPortal}}, you'll need to customize certain settings, such as how {{variable.customers}} pay for {{variable.products}}. 

## Setting up the store

We recommend treating these steps as an **audit** for your space. You can also make sure you're taking advantage of all the **new features** added in Version 5

Setting up your **Store**  on the Members Portal is a simple two-step process. 

First, you'll need to **define your payment settings**. Payment settings control how {{variable.customers}} pay for {{variable.products}}.

Then, you can **publish {{variable.products}}** on the {{variable.MembersPortal}}.
