# Purchasing Event Tickets

{{variable.Customers_CAP}} can easily purchase event tickets on the {{variable.MembersPortal}}. 

:::(Info) (You'll need to [create and publish tickets](/v3/docs/adding-event-tickets){target=`_blank`} for your event to let {{variable.customers}} purchase them on the {{variable.MembersPortal}}.)

:::(Info) (These steps are based on the <u>default version</u> of the {{variable.MembersPortal}}.)
If you've customized your portal, the steps for your {{variable.customers}} may be different. 
:::

1. {{variable.CLICK}} on the **Community** tab from anywhere on the {{variable.MembersPortal}}.
2. {{variable.SELECT}} **Events**. 
3. {{variable.SELECT}} the {{variable.event}} you'd like to attend. 
4. {{variable.CLICK}} **Get tickets**. 
5. {{variable.SELECT}} the number of tickets you'd like to purchase.
6. Enter the **Full name** and **Email** of each attendee. 
7. {{variable.CLICK}} **Continue** to check out. 

:::(Warning) (You'll need to complete the check out process to get your tickets even if they're free.)

All set! {{variable.EventAttendees_CAP}} will receive a confirmation email with their ticket.
