# QuickBooks Online

## What is {{variable.QuickBooks}}?
{{variable.QuickBooks}} is a cloud-based accounting software. The integration with {{variable.Nexudus}} lets you transfer {{variable.customer}} invoices issued in {{variable.Nexudus}} to your {{variable.QuickBooks}} account. You can also pay these invoices in {{variable.QuickBooks}} and sync that payment in Nexudus.

## How the {{variable.QuickBooks}} Integration Works
Integrating your {{variable.QuickBooks}} account to {{variable.Nexudus}} is a simple three-step process: 

1. Preparing and mapping your charts of accounts in {{variable.Nexudus}} and {{variable.QuickBooks}}
2. Integrate {{variable.QuickBooks}} {{variable.OnTheAdminPanel}}
3. Transfer your first invoices

## FAQ
### Can I use the integration with QuickBooks Desktop? 
No, {{variable.Nexudus}} currently only integrates with {{variable.QuickBooks}}. 

### Will invoices paid in {{variable.QuickBooks}} show as paid in {{variable.Nexudus}}? 
Yes, if you transfer a {{variable.Nexudus}} invoice to {{variable.QuickBooks}} and process a payment there, that invoice is automatically marked as paid in {{variable.Nexudus}} on the next manual or automated transfer.

### Are invoices automatically transferred to {{variable.QuickBooks}}? 
Yes, as long as you've enabled the automated transfers via {{variable.QBO_Link}} {{variable.OnTheAdminPanel}}. If you allow automated invoice transfers, {{variable.Nexudus}} and {{variable.QuickBooks}} will automatically sync invoices every 6 hours. 

With or without automated invoice transfers, you can always manually trigger invoice transfers between {{variable.Nexudus}} and {{variable.QuickBooks}} via the {{variable.AdminPanel}}.
