# Revenue Forecasts

## What are Revenue Forecasts?

**Revenue Forecasts** are revenue estimates calculated based on the active contracts currently active in each of your locations. 

The {{variable.AdminPanel}} includes a general revenue forecast that aggregates all revenue streams in each location. 

You also have several revenue forecasts that are more specific for: 

* **Customers** 
* **Contracts** 
* **Proposals**

The forecasts divide your revenue based on contract billing dates. You can filter your forecasts to include one-off sales and free items as well.
