# Sending Files to Customers

You can send files to {{variable.customers}} via email in a few clicks {{variable.OnTheAdminPanel}}. 

*For example, a {{variable.customer}} needs a copy of their contract after losing the original.* 

They can access all the files you send them from the *Files* tab under **My Activity** on the {{variable.MembersPortal}}.

:::(warning) (You need to [add the file to the {{variable.customer}}'s account](/docs/adding-files-to-customers){target=`_blank`} on the {{variable.AdminPanel}} before sharing it with them.)

2. {{variable.CLICK}} {{variable.Customers_Link}}.
3. {{variable.CLICK_ON}} the relevant {{variable.customer}}. 
4. {{variable.CLICK}} **CRM > Files**. 
5. {{variable.CLICK_ON}} the three dots icon next to the file you want to send to the {{variable.customer}}. 
6. {{variable.CLICK}} **Send**.

All set! The {{variable.customer}} will receive an email notification with a link to the file.

Clicking on the link will redirect them to the *Files* tab under **My Activity** on the {{variable.MembersPortal}} from where they can see all the files you've shared and download them.
