# Starting Discussions

Customers can start easily start discussions from the **Community** section of the Members Portal.

---

1. Log in to the Members Portal if you haven't already.
2. Click on the **Community** tab.
3. Select **Discussion Boards**.
4. Click **Start discussion**.
5. Under **Send to**, select specific customers or send to **everyone in this group**.
6. Add your **Subject**.
7. Add your **Message**.
8. Select the **Group** you'd like to post in.
9. Add **Tags**.

You can enter a maximum of three tags.

1. Add any attachments.
2. Toggle on **Instant delivery** if you'd like to notify everyone immediately.
3. Click **Start discussion**.
