# Resuming plans as a customer

If you've [allowed contract freezes for plans](/docs/allowing-contract-freezing) members are signed up to, they are automatically able to resume their plan early.

*For example, they froze their membership to travel for a few months, but they ended up coming back early and want to enjoy their member benefits and pricing again.*

1. Go to your members portal.
2. Click on your name in the top-right corner of the page.
3. Click on **Plans and Benefits**.
4. Under the plan you'd like to resume, click on **Resume plan**.
5. Click on **Resume plan again**.
6. Click on **Okay, got it!**

All set! The customer's plan resumes as soon as they confirm their choice. If their plan has proration, they'll be charged for the number of days left in the current billing cycle. If the plan is not prorated, they'll be invoiced for the entire billing cycle, no matter when they resume within that cycle.
