# Using Parakey

Customers can unlock doors using one of two apps:

- [Your white-label app](/v3/docs/using-parakey#whitelabel-app) by default
- [Parakey's own app](/v3/docs/using-parakey#variableparakey-app) if you allowed that option when integrating Parakey with Nexudus.

## White-label app

Your customers can log in to your white-label app and use it to unlock door based on the bookings they make, and the contracts and passes they have.

1. Open your space app.
2. Log in to your account if you aren't already.
3. Tap the **Unlock door** tile and then tap on the door that you'd like to unlock.

You'll get pop-up message to confirm the selected door was successfully unlocked.

## Parakey app

Your customers can also log in to the Parakey app and use it to unlock door based on the bookings they make, and the contracts and passes they have if you [allowed it during the integration process](https://help.nexudus.com/v3/docs/integrating-parakey#step-1-add-nexudus-addon-in-parakey).

1. Open the Parakey app.
2. Log in using the email and password you received from Parakey via email.
3. Tap on the door you'd like to unlock.

The door you tapped turns green when it unlocks.
