What Are Email Accounts?

Email accounts are a quick and easy way to manage the email interactions you have with customers directly from Nexudus.

For example, if you have an email address dedicated to answering customer queries, you can link this email account in Nexudus and find all your interactions with customers directly from the customer's record in Nexudus.

How Email Accounts Work

Once you've configured the email account, any message sent by customers to these accounts is picked up by Nexudus and placed in the relevant customer record.‌

If you want to monitor an account, you must provide the settings for incoming (used to receive emails) and outgoing (used to send emails) servers. You can only monitor accounts that use the IMAP protocol. Most providers support this protocol, including Gmail and Outlook.‌

Once you've set up an account and email monitoring is active, Nexudus will scan that account's inbox every 15 minutes, looking for new messages. If any of the inbox messages comes from someone signed up to your space, it will automatically copy it to the corresponding customer account.‌
