Square for NexKIOSK

Square for NexKIOSK is only available to US customers.

To process card payments in NexKIOSK outside of the US, consider using iZettle instead.

Square can only be used as a payment method in Epos mode.

If you plan on using the Kiosk mode and want your customers to pay by card, consider using iZettle instead.

You can use Square as a payment method in NexKIOSK. You need a Square account and a Square card reader to use this payment method. Visit Square's website for more information on how to create an account and get a card reader.

Unlike iZettle, Square works like a traditional till or cash register and requires the presence of a staff member to operate the card reader.


If you haven't enabled the Square integration in your Nexudus yet, follow our integration tutorial before starting the pairing of your Square card reader to NexKIOSK.

  1. Open the NexKIOSK app on your tablet.

  2. Log in using full unrestricted admin credentials dedicated to the app.

  3. Select your location.
    If you manage a network, make sure you select the right location.

  4. Tap on Epos.

  5. Tap on the menu on the bottom left of the screen.

  6. Tap on Settings.

  7. Tap on Pair Square Reader.

NexKIOSK will automatically try to pair with your Square reader.


NexKIOSK is now connected to Square. We recommend you make a test purchase to make sure transactions are processed correctly both in Nexudus and Square.
