We strongly recommend you export your account in Google Authenticator to a backup device. This ensures that if you lose access to your main device, you still can get authentication codes to log in. Your main device is usually your phone and your backup device can be another phone or a tablet.
If you used another authenticator app, the process will be slightly different.
Download Google Authenticator on your iOS or Android backup device.
Open Google Authenticator on your main device.
Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your screen.
Tap Export accounts.
Tap Continue.
A QR code appears on screen.
Open Google Authenticator on your backup device and tap Get Started.
Tap Scan a QR code.
Point the camera of your backup device at the QR code displayed on your main device.
Tap OK on your backup device.
Tap Finished on your main device.
You've exported your account to your backup device. You can now use the codes generated on either devices when logging in to the Admin Panel.
