What is NexBoard?

NexBoard is a Nexudus app that can turn your tablets into room displays. Customers can see the resource's availability and book that resource directly from the app or via the Passport app. The app is available on Google Play and the App Store

NexBoard is included in your Nexudus subscription at no additional cost.

How NexBoard Works

You first need to purchase one tablet per resource you want to connect to NexBoard. You can use the app to connect multiple resources, but each resource needs its own tablet.

For example, you can connect NexBoard to 5 resources using the same admin account as long as you set up the app on 5 different tablets.

Tablet Requirements

You need at least one tablet meeting the requirements detailed below to use NexBoard. You can choose to set up several tablets with NexBoard if you want more than one point of sale in your space.

Screen size

Tablet screens must be over 7 inches. We recommend displays between 9 and 12 inches for optimal display and ease of use.

Tablets must connect to Wi-Fi to download and use the app.

Tablets must support Bluetooth 4.0 (also known as BLE) or above.

Access to the Apple Store or Google Play

Tablets must have access to the Apple Store (iPad) or Google Play (Android tablets) to download the app.

Minimum OS Version

Tablets must use a recent version of iOS or Android. You can easily find the minimum OS required for your tablets from the app's page on the App Store or Google Play.

To find the minimum iPadOS required to use the app, find the app on the App Store and scroll down to the Information section.

Android tablets

To find the minimum Android version required to use the app, find the app on Google Play and click on the arrow icon next to About this app

Can I use the same admin account for multiple tablets?

Absolutely! You can set up all your NexBoard tablets using the same admin credentials. We recommend you create an admin dedicated to NexBoard in your account. For more information, check out Setting up NexBoard.
