# Adding a Payment Method

You need to set up a direct debit mandate or add your credit card details to pay for your Nexudus subscription. You can access this section via [**Settings > Your Nexudus subscription > Payment details**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/settings/0/1/1) on the Admin Panel.

You must add a payment method to **all** your locations, including **network** locations.

Nexudus won't charge **network** locations as long as:

- they have less than [**5 active users**](/v3/docs/who-is-considered-an-active-user-in-nexudus)

**AND**

- you didn't enable any integrations or features that we charge at the network level, such as [Explore Pro](/v3/docs/nexudus-explore-1) or the [white-label Passport app](/v3/docs/white-label-passport-by-nexudus).

We automatically suspend your account if you don't pay your invoices within **10 days**.

## Pay via Direct Debit

A new direct debit mandate usually takes between 4 and 10 business days to completely process.

Make sure you take this initial mandate setup delay into consideration when adding your payment method.

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Settings > Your Nexudus subscription > Payment details**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/settings/0/1/1).
3. Select the **Bank** option.

1. Click **Configure bank payments**.

*You are redirected to GoCardless to set up your direct debit mandate.*

1. Fill out the form with your bank details and click **Set up direct debit**.

1. Review your details and click **Confirm**.

*You are redirected to the **Payment Details** page in Nexudus.*

All set! Your direct debit mandate was sent to your bank for approval and will be used to pay for future Nexudus invoices once your bank authorizes the mandate.

A confirmation email from GoCardless is also sent to the email address you added to the direct debit setup form.

## Paying via Card

1. Log in to [dashboard.nexudus.com](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/) if you aren't already.
2. Click [**Settings > Your Nexudus subscription > Payment details**](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/settings/0/1/1).
3. Select the **Credit/debit card** option.

1. Fill out the form with your details.
2. Click **Submit payment details**.

All set! Your card details will be used to pay for all your future Nexudus invoices.
