How the Smartalock integration works

You create an automation tile for your locker bank and enable the integration on the Admin Panel. Once you've completed the integration and installed the tile on your locker bank, occupiers can start using the tile to open/close lockers straight away.

They can open lockers and lock them by either scanning the tile's QR code and logging in to the Members Portal or by simply tapping their phone on the tile with the Passport app open.

Can I use my white-label app with Smartalock?

Absolutely! The Smartalock integration works with both the standard Passport app and any of its white-label versions.

How many automation tiles do I need for the integration?

You only need one automation tile per locker bank.

Can occupiers open/close lockers if they don't have the Passport app?

Custmers can use the integration without the Passport app. All they need to do is scan the tile's QR code and then log in to the Members Portal. For more details, check out our article on Using SmartaLock.
