Time and money credits are used based on the following rules.
Time Credits
Time credits are used before money credits if the existing time credits can be used to pay for the purchase.
If customers have multiple time credits, the ones with a closer expiration date will be used before time credits expiring at a later date.
If multiple time credits share the same expiration date, the ones coming from plans will be used before other time credits coming from products or those manually added by an admin.
Example
A customer has 2 types of time credits worth 2 hours each that they can use to book any meeting room.
Time Credit 1 comes from their plan and Time Credit 2 is a credit that you manually added to their account as welcome gift.
They also received a $100 money credit that is valid for any type of booking from their plan.
They book a meeting room for 2 hours for $40/hour.
Nexudus will use Time Credit 1 first, before using Time Credit 2. The $100 money credit would only be used if the two previous time credits were already used or if the booked meeting room couldn't be paid using time credits.
Money Credits
Money credits are used after time credits if the customer's existing time credits can be used to pay for the purchase.
If customers have multiple money credits, the ones with a closer expiration date will be used before other money credits expiring at a later date.
If multiple money credits share the same expiration date, the ones coming from plans will be used before other money credits coming from products or those manually added by an admin.
Example
A customer has 2 different types of money credits worth $50 each.
Money Credit 1 can only be use to pay for plans, products, or charges. Money Credit 2 can only be used to book resources.
They also have a 5-hour time credit that is valid for any type of booking.
They book a hot desk for 1 hour for $20/hour and buy a $3 coffee alongside the booking.
Nexudus will use the 5-hour time credit first. The Money Credit 2 wouldn't be used for the hot desk booking unless the 5-hour time credit ran out of time or the booking couldn't be paid using the 5-hour time credit.
The coffee would also automatically be paid using Money Credit 1.
Individual vs Team Credits
Individual time/money credits are used before any team time/money credits.
