Embedded pages help you connect external apps and websites to your Admin Panel. Your embedded pages have their own icon and become available in the Quick actions menu as soon as you activate them.
For example, you can embed an app your team uses to communicate from the Admin Panel or your own website to access it in one click.
You need a sound understanding of web apps development and signed requests to use embedded pages.
You need the following details from the web app or website that you want to connect to Nexudus:
- A shared secret
- The URL that you want to use as the landing page for the app on the Admin Panel.
Some apps don't allow their users to embed pages and results embedded pages.
Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.
Click Settings > Embedded Pages.
Click Add embedded page.
Select the Location where you want to add the embedded page.
Name the embedded page.
Select an Icon for the embedded page.
Add the URL that you want to use as the landing page for the embedded page on the Admin Panel.
Enable the Active toggle.
Add your app's Shared secret under the Authentication section.
Click the Save Changes button.
All done! You can check the page works as expected by clicking on its icon in the quick actions menu of your Admin Panel.
Check that your shared secret is still valid and identical on your app and on the Admin Panel.
If your shared secret matches on both sides, the web app you're trying to connect to Nexudus may simply not allow any third-party platform to embed their app.
