You need Bluetooth and location services enabled on your Android phone or tablet to use several functionalities available on Nexudus apps.

Permissions

The Passport app and white-label apps require several permissions when you first install and open the app. These permissions are crucial to let you use our apps to their full potential.

Whether you skipped the initial permissions request or revoked them by accident, you'll need to grant 2 types of permission again in order to get the most out of our app.

1. Nearby Devices Permissions

To grant our app permission to read nearby devices, follow the process below:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Permission manager > Nearby devices on your device.

You should see a list of all the apps installed on your device.

  1. Scroll to and tap on the relevant Nexudus app.
  2. Allow the app to access nearby devices.

2. Location Services

In order to grant our app permission to read location services, follow the process below:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Permission manager > Location on your device.

You should see a list of all the apps installed on your device.

  1. Scroll to and tap on the relevant Nexudus app.
  2. Select Allow only while using the app.

All set! You're ready to enjoy our apps' full functionality again.

Bluetooth

A number of our apps require you to have Bluetooth enabled in order to use features such as check-in, printing, or even door unlock.

If you use the app to interact with any other Bluetooth devices, just make sure you've enabled Bluetooth on your device by going to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
