Assigning Assets to Customers


You can assign assets to customers via Inventory > Inventory Assets on the Admin Panel. You can also assign multiple assets to a customer at once.

If you want to narrow down the number of inventory assets listed, you can filter them by:

  • Name
  • SKU
  • Created on
  • Last updated on

  1. If the navigation menu isn't visible, click the menu icon in the top left corner of the page.

  2. Tick the checkbox next to every asset you want to assign to a customer.

  3. Click Assign to customer in the Bulk Actions menu.

  4. Select your location from the Location drop-down list.

  5. Select the relevant customer from the Customer drop-down list.

Can't find your customer on the list?

Start typing their name to narrow down your options.

  1. Click Yes, do it to confirm.


You've assigned the selected assets to your customer. Assets are assigned indefinitely unless you define an Assigned until date via the Assignment tab of each asset.
