Enabling Payment Gateways

You can enable any payment method of your choice through Settings > Payments and currency > Payment methods on the Admin Panel.

The details you need to provide to enable a payment method varies for each provider. This guide is designed to give you a general understanding of the process.

Transaction Fees

Most card payment providers we support can have a transaction fee. This section lets you charge customers a set transaction fee every time they choose to pay using this payment option.

Transaction fees create a new invoice line. You can choose to charge tax on this fee and assign it to a specific financial account.

Always make sure your comply with your local laws and business regulations regarding transaction fees on customer card payments.

Charging customers a transaction fee for using a card payment option is not allowed in most European countries, including the United Kingdom.


  1. Log in to the Admin Panel if you aren't already.

  2. Click on the card payment method you want to enable.

  3. Define the Payment gateway name.

This is the name of the payment option as it is displayed on the Members Portal.

  1. Add Transaction fee details if you want to charge customers using this payment method.

  2. Add the relevant details in the Payment method settings section.

The details you need to provide are different for each payment provider.

You can find most of those details in your account with the payment provider. If you're unsure about some of the required details, don't hesitate get in touch with the payment provider's support team.

  1. Click the Save Changes button.


You've successfully enabled a new payment option. We strongly recommend you test the payment method before processing customer payments.
