Article summary

You also have the option to sell event tickets through an external ticketing platform instead of the Members Portal. Your customers will automatically be redirected to the external ticketing platform when they click on the Get tickets button for that event.

Example

You want your customers to see events on your Members Portal but want to sell tickets for those events via Eventbrite.

All you need to do is add the link to the Eventbrite page you created to the event's record in Nexudus. Customers will be able to see the event on your portal and will be redirected to Eventbrite when they click on Get Tickets.

Events_ExternalTicketing_MP

Using this feature disconnects ticket sales from Nexudus.

Your customers won't receive any email confirmations from Nexudus when they purchase tickets. They also won't be able to check-in to your event via NexEvents.

All you need is the URL of the external ticketing platform you want to use as the landing page when customers click to buy tickets on the Members Portal.

You can add this URL to the Tickets page address field under the Links tab of any event.

The link of the Get tickets button is replaced straight away.

Any tickets sold through Nexudus prior to the change will remain valid. Any tickets sold after the change will be processed through the external ticketing platform and won't trigger any type of action in Nexudus.
