Copying Roles


Article Summary

You can easily copy any of your existing roles. Copying roles is useful if you want to create multiple roles with very similar permissions, saving yourself some time.

For example, all your restricted admins need the same core permissions. You can create a role with those core permissions and then copy it. You can then rename and add extra permissions to each copy without starting from scratch each time.


  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Settings > Roles.

  3. Click on the three dots icon next to the role you want to copy.

  4. Click on Make a copy.

  5. Click Yes, do it to confirm.


Your role is now copied. You can click on the copy and edit its name and permissions as needed.
