Customizing Passport with the Editor

Prev Next
You can customize Passport using the Editor even if you haven't migrated to MPv5.

Any changes you make will only appear in the Passport app until you migrate your portal.

What is the Editor?

The Editor lets you customize Members Portal 5 and the Passport app. Because you can customize both your portal and your app simultaneously, there's less admin work for you and a more seamless experience for your customers!

Branding Settings are controlled in the Admin Panel.

How does the Editor work?

If you're on Members Portal 5, you can use the Editor to customize your Members Portal and Passport app.

Any changes you make in the Editor will apply to both your Members Portal and your Passport app.

If you're on an earlier version of the Members Portal, changes in the Editor will only affect your app until you migrate your portal to Version 5.

Any admin with a customer account can access the Editor from the Admin Panel and customize your app and portal.

Customizing Passport with the Editor

You can create custom pages and customize default pages using the Editor.

Custom Pages

You can add custom pages to your Passport app using the Editor.

For example, you can add a custom page with information about your space and its background.

For more information, check out Adding Custom Pages to Passport Version 5.

Default Pages

You can easily customize default pages using the editor, including adding, removing, and reorganizing components.

For example, you can choose which components are visible on your customers' dashboards.

Make sure you don't remove the Hero component from your Dashboard page.

Removing the Hero component will remove your door access control functionality from Passport.
