What You Need to Integrate Ezeep

An Ezeep Account

You need an active Ezeep account with connected printers. If you don't have an account yet, we recommend you visit their website or get in touch with them via their contact form.

Two Products Dedicated to Printing

You need to create two products dedicated to printing in your Nexudus inventory: one for color printing and one for black & white printing. These products define how much customers will be charged for printing.

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Inventory > Products.

  3. Click Add product.

  4. Click Manual entry.

  5. Name your first printing product.

Use a clear name such as Printing color or Printing b&w.

  1. Add a Description.

  2. Add the amount you want to charge your customers per page printed in the Price field.

If you don't want to charge your customers for printing, leave the price at 0.00.

  1. Click the Save Changes button.

Repeat the same process for the second printing product.

A Resource Type Dedicated to Printing

You need to create a resource type dedicated to printing that you will then assign to your printing credit type.

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Add resource type.

  3. Name your resource type Printing.

  4. Click the Save Changes button.

Your Printing resource type should now appear in the Resource Types list.

A Credit Type Dedicated to Printing

You also need to create a credit type dedicated to printing. This printing credit lets you add printing benefits to plans and products. Each printing credit is equivalent to one cent.

For example, if customers signed up to any plan have 2,000 printing credits every time their plan is renewed, they will be able to print up to $20 every month.

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Inventory > Printing Credit Type.

  3. Click Add printing credit type.

  4. Name your printing credit.

Make sure the credit name is clear, for example Printing Credit or Credit Printing.

  1. Select the Printing resource type from the drop-down list.

  2. Click the Save button.

You now have a printing credit set up in your inventory. You can move to the integration process below.
