What you need to integrate Google Analytics 4
- A Google Analytics 4 account
If you don't have a Google Analytics 4 account yet, you can create one at analytics.google.com
- A data stream dedicated to your Members Portal in Google Analytics 4
You only need to set up one data stream from your Members Portal.
You can filter events using the platform_type parameter to see whether customers completed an action in the portal or the app.
If you don't have Google Analytics 4 data stream for your Members Portal yet, you can create one in a minute following Google's guide to create a data stream.
- The measurement ID of your Google Analytics 4 data stream
You can find your measurement ID within your data stream. The ID is a combination of numbers and letters that always starts with G-.
Integrating Google Analytics 4
Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Analytics 4.
- Add your Google Analytics 4 measurement ID in the MEASUREMENT ID field.
Click the Save Changes button.
All set! You should be able to see Members Portal events in your Google Analytics 4 within the next 24 to 48 hours.

Google Analytics 4 Platform Types
Each event in Google Analytics 4 has a parameter named Platform Type that you can use to filter which platform customers used to complete an action.
There are four platform types:
| Platform Type | Description |
|---|---|
| desktop | Used when someone visits the Members Portal from their desktop. |
| mobile | Used when someone visits the Members Portal from their mobile or cell phone. |
| white_label | Used when someone uses the White-label version of Passport app. You won't see this parameter if your space uses standard Passport. |
| passport | Used when someone uses standard Passport app. You won't see this parameter if your space uses White-label Passport. |
