What you need to get started
A Stripe Checkout account
You need a Stripe Checkout account with at least one payment method enabled to receive payments processed through Nexudus.
Nexudus cannot enable or disable payment methods for you in Stripe Checkout. The payment methods you enable in your account will be the ones available to customers when they check out on the Members Portal.
Your Publishable and Secret Keys
You need your Stripe publishable and secret keys to connect Nexudus and Stripe.
Stripes provides a guide on obtaining your keys.
If you see a Test Data banner at the top of the page and your secret key has a Reveal test key button, your Stripe account can't be connected to Nexudus yet.
Add the necessary business and bank details to your Stripe account to activate it before moving to the next step. You know your account is live when the Test Data banner doesn't appear at the top of the page anymore.
If you complete the integration using your test details instead of your live details, you won't be able to successfully process and collect payments using Stripe.
Copy and save them somewhere safe, you'll need them to enable the payment method in Nexudus.
Integrating Stripe Checkout
Once you have all the details you need to get started, you can integrate Stripe Checkout in a few clicks on the Admin Panel
Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.
- Click Settings > Payments and currency > Payment methods.
- Search for Stripe Checkout and click on the tile.
- Toggle on Enabled.
- Toggle on Enable automatic recurrent payments if you'd like to automatically collect payments using this payment method.
- Add your Publishable key and your Secret key.
- If you'd like to use Apple Pay, add your Merchant Identifier and your Domain verification file contents.
Click the Save Changes button.
All set! We recommend testing your new payment method to ensure it works as expected.
