Payment Result - AWAITING: Invalid request. Status: 422.

What it means

You've exceeded the monthly transaction cap GoCardless allows for a single customer.

How to fix it

You can check out GoCardless' Transaction Limits for your currency and ask them to raise your transaction limit to avoid this issue in the future.

In the meantime, you need to manually collect payment for this invoice. This can include cash, check, bank transfer or requesting a payment for the value of the invoice via another payment provider outside of Nexudus. Regardless of which manual payment option you choose, you should communicate with your customer and let them know how you'd like to receive their payment.

Once you've received their payment, you can mark the invoice as paid in Nexudus in a few clicks.

You can send a direct debit request to your customers but the link in the email notification they receive doesn't lead anywhere.

What it means

GoCardless isn't properly connected as a payment method or the GoCardless payments aren't enabled in the customer's account.

How to fix it

You first need to check if GoCardless is properly enabled in your account.

  1. Click on GoCardless.

  2. Click on Connect to GoCardless.

  3. Log back in to your GoCardless account if you weren't already.

Now that that you are properly connected, try sending the request to your customers again. If the link still doesn't work, it means that GoCardless isn't enabled as a payment option in the customer's account.

You can easily enable it in a few clicks on the Admin Panel.

  1. Click on the relevant customer.

  2. Click on the Payments tab.

  3. Click on Direct Debit (GoCardless).

  4. Enable the GoCardless Direct Debit payments.

  5. Click the Save Changes button.

  6. Click on Resend sign-up request notification.

All set! The customer should receive a new direct debit request with a valid link within a few minutes. Repeat the process for every customer who didn't have GoCardless enabled.
